Well, this pretty much sums up Young Tomoe, doesn't it? This cel shows just how truly insane she gets during the competition and how much she relishes in whooping on some unsuspecting opponent. This is my first Tomoe cel and the moment I saw it, I knew I had to pick it up (despite some problems I had with the seller getting him to mail it to me). When I did manage to get it, it looked even better than the scan he had (and it looks far better than the scan I've provided as well. Blasted scanner...).

I absolutely love the detail on this cel, especially her eyes. It's one of the more beautiful cels in my collection, although it really freaks me out at times. ^^;; I do consider it a "perfect cel," though, because it's centered, eyes open, and takes up most of the space. It isn't a normal shot of the character's face, but considering Tomoe's personality it still works.

I know this is from one of the last four episodes, but I haven't been able to find the time to check which one.

Unfortunate Update: Unfortunately because of my ignorance I framed and hung some of my cels on the wall. A handful were over a light which resulted in various levels of fading on the black parts. This cel, sadly, was one of the few that got the brunt of the damage. I plan on trying to fix it up myself (by faking it out) but I know it will never be the same again and any value it had is forever gone. Losing this cel to damage really really makes me sick.
