Poor Kris! Akari must have turned her down again. ^__^

Seriously though, I'm not sure why Kris is down, but I feel for her. In my never ending search for a cel of each character, Kris seems to be one of those that it seems really hard to track down good cels of. I've seen plenty, actually, but always seem to get outbid or the cels are way too high.

This one isn't exactly my idea of the perfect Kris cel; I would love to have a normal face shot of her. But it's still a good one, so it will do fine until I find the one I'm looking for.

I really like this one because it shows a rare side of Kris. During most of the TV series, Kris is used for comedic relief or is spending her time trying to cheer Akari up. This is from a moment when her serious side is shown. I just wish I could remember why she's so upset. :)

I'm not sure what episode this is from, since I haven't watched the show recently.

Unfortunate Update: Unfortunately because of my ignorance I framed and hung some of my cels on the wall. A handful were over a light which resulted in various levels of fading on the black parts. This cel, sadly, was one of the few that got the brunt of the damage. I plan on trying to fix it up myself (by faking it out) but I know it will never be the same again and any value it had is forever gone.
