Ugh, I'm so mad at my scanner right now. This is the one cel I wanted to scan perfectly, and unfortunately a lot of detail and color is lost on it. I promise that this cel looks much, MUCH better than the scan shows.

This is my absolute favorite cel in my collection. As anyone who knows me knows, Ichino is my favorite character in the series. When I saw this cel, it was the most beautiful thing I saw as far as "Battle Athletes" cels go. Itchan is centered, eyes open, normal looking pose (i.e. eyes not bugging out or some goofy comedic look on her face), and it covers most of the cel.

It's also from one of my favorite episodes, the very first one, when the athletes are in a competition hauling these giant rollers over a battlefield of mines. If I remember correctly, this is the scene when Tanya suddenly pops out of nowhere. I used to know for sure, but I haven't watched the series recently, so I can't exactly recall (I'll update this when I get a chance to check). Definitely the best cel in my collection and I can confirm this right now: this one is not for sale for any amount of money.

This is from the first episode of the TV series. I'm very, very lucky to have nabbed it while I could.
